Hi Roomies! ☀️ We have 2 rooms available immediately in our home in Old Strovolos, Nicosia, including a lovely ensuite bedroom that’s available for either a single person or a couple. We live in a quiet, residential neighborhood just a few minutes’ walk from the Linear Park, which runs through Nicosia along the river. It’s one of my favorite things about the area. You can step out of the house and get a little slice of nature, whether it’s for a walk, run, bike ride, or just some fresh air. 🌿 We’re also around 10 minutes by car from the University of Nicosia, so the location works really well for UNIC students, Erasmus students, or anyone working around the area. Lidl and several other supermarkets are just a few minutes away. 🏡 The Room The ensuite bedroom is spacious, has plenty of storage, and comes with its own private bathroom, so you have a nice amount of privacy while still being part of a shared home. It’s available immediately and can comfortably accommodate one person or a couple. 🌞 The House More than anything, we’re trying to keep this a home rather than just a place where everyone rents a room and disappears behind their doors. Over the time we’ve had a really international mix of people living here. Erasmus and international students, working professionals, creatives, and people from all sorts of backgrounds. At the moment, our little household includes a ceramist & business owner, a restaurateur, and a University of Nicosia student. We’re mixed genders, get along really well, and genuinely enjoy spending time together. We’ll often have dinners together, hang out in the common spaces, have friends over for small gatherings, help each other out, or just sit around chatting after a long day. There’s absolutely no pressure to participate in everything, but we’d love to find people who actually enjoy the idea of having housemates rather than just sharing an address. 👯‍♀️ There aren't any crazy house rules. Have friends over, cook, make yourself at home, hang out, and contribute your own little bit to making the house a nice place to live. We’re looking for open minded, considerate people with a positive outlook on the world. People who enjoy meeting others, sharing a meal now and then, and contributing to the good vibes and character of the house. 🐶🐱 Important: We Have Pets! Our house comes with a few furry roommates. We have a very sweet and friendly dog and two cats, so you definitely need to be comfortable living with animals. If you have a pet of your own, we’re open to that too, as long as they can get along happily with the rest of the gang. 🐾 💡 Utilities Utilities are shared between everyone in the house and generally come to around €100 per person per month, depending on the season and how much everyone uses.
